Locations
Both: Netherlands, Germany, Finland, France, United Kingdom, Turkey, United States.
Only Gcore: Luxembourg, Portugal, Poland, Norway, Brazil, United Arab Emirates, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, India, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Australia, South Africa.
Features
Gcore adds private networking, unmetered traffic.
You would give up NVMe disks, IPv6, custom ISO boot.
A three-step cutover
- Create the Gcore server in Netherlands first so the new IP is ready before DNS changes.
- Move data with rsync or a restic backup; Gcore gives you no snapshot or ISO path in what we read, so test the restore.
- Lower the DNS TTL to 300 seconds a day ahead, cut over, then keep HOSTKEY running for a week as a fallback.
